Professor Bai is interested in developing formal principles for decision-making in social contexts, and exploring the interplay between individual decisions and societal structures. Her research uncovers troublesome aspects of human minds that may appear benign or intelligent. I aim to scale up empirical observations with larger datasets and nail down psychological mechanisms using computational cognitive models.
